In response, Nakamoto explained that transaction fees were one of the ways to prevent such an occurrence. The inventor also noted that there were other measures that could be taken if necessary.

Nakamoto also revealed that numerous transaction types were crafted long before his conversation with Andresen. “The design supports a tremendous variety of possible transaction types that I designed years ago,” the anonymous inventor said. “Escrow transactions, bonded contracts, third party arbitration, multi-party signature, так далее.
